So I haven’t had the time that I thought to redo the design on the Bluenoser.net sites, however I have made a small shange to the layout of the site.  As you have probably noticed the sidebar is on the right, and if you check the source it is also at the bottom of the page. 

This was done using a little trick I read about on Shawn Hogan’s blog.  Basically it is just moving HTML using JavaScript.  Since I am not that good with java I had to copy what he did almost exactly, and even then it took me 15mins. 

Oh well hopefully Big-G will think the site is better and will rank me higher for some of my terms, or at least think that my posts are important.

I am starting to get better at developing themes for WordPress so one of the higher ups in my agenda is to develop a new theme for this site.  I really like the current one, but I believe that change would be good.  Maybe something that will be easier to make my other sites that are linked to this one match like the image host and the future forum.

I will try to keep the same “feel” of the site just needs to put my own flavor on to it.

When it is complete I will be looking for people to let me know what they think of it, so make sure that  you are ready.

I am planning on merging this blog, which is currently only a Webmaster Blog with my Nova Scotia Blog www.bluenoser.ca The reason for this merger is that I currently don’t have the time to maintain 2 different sites and promote them to the point where I am happy with their growth.  Instead I am going to make a new category in this site and move all of the posts there.  I will point the other blog to that category and will continue to add relvant posts there.

Along with this change I will be introducing a forum to the site.  This will be a hybrid Webmaster/Nova Scotia themed forum that I will be starting to promote early August.  Hope to see all of my readers get involved.

We have just past the 1 year mark since I posted my first article.  I didn’t know a whole lot back then and must say that I am doing much better now.

For those of you that have been reading since then tell me what you think?  Has the site improved much?

I know that I have put a lot of time into my internet businesses, and at some times it felt a little overwhelming but there have been some great accomplishments along the way that has made it all worth while

Now how much does toilet paper really cost?  I am asking this relatively strange question because I just had a bad TP experience.  Basically I was forced to use single ply sandpaper on my delicate behind.

Yes forced, you really don’t always get to choose your locale, so I went to a public toilet in a relatively fancy coffee shop.  I will not name names since all in all I like the place so I would hate for people not to go their because of the toilet paper that they use.

So again I say, how much does it cost, not a hell of a lot is the answer.  I would rather pay a couple of pennies more for my coffee so that in the off chance that I have to go to the washroom I will have the pleasure to use 2ply SOFT TP.

For the cost difference it would really make one of their more regular customers MUCH MUCH more happy.
