Well I think that I am just about ready to unleash The Bluenoser Forum to the world.  I have completed adding the topics that I would like to discuss, and am just about finished the Quick Reply Mod.

I am however going to simply Keep the default theme for the time being.  That is something that I am going to change when I do the redesign of the entire site.  It is going to be a lot of work to get the site on the go, but I am going to be looking forward to discussing the topics that I picked on a daily basis, and I am hoping that others will feel the same way too.

Well it is NOW time, I am going to do some MAJOR work on www.thepartylive.com this Thursday.  First I am going to redo EVERYTHING, no worries all of the posts and such will still be there but it is time for me to re-install everything on the site.  This being my first time around with VB I have made a few mistakes that I would like to fix.  One of those is with the styles, I really should have made myself a child style to make the changes on, and on top of that I have this new portal that I installed not really knowing anything about it.  Also it meant that the OLD site, phpnuke site was lost since I over wrote some files.  I am going to have that back somehow too with the same urls.  Not sure how yet but it WILL happen

 So from Thursday till probably Sunday I will be working steady on that site and most other projects will be put on hold.  Wish me luck, hopefully when I am done there will be a NEW style

I spend about 3 hours yesterday reviewing 1000 submissions to my directory.  I am getting so many and making so little that I have revised the rules so that it is now a primarily PAY directory.  All that it costs is $10 which I think is well worth the link in a good directory that I am continually trying to make better.

However I can’t get over what a lot of people try to put over as a website.  They are SPAM. I probably rejected 60% of the sites that I reviewed and some were so bad I banned the submitters, there was also a lot of bad URLs, something that I found strange since the last time I reviewed sites was only a month ago.  So a word of advice if you are going to submit a site to a directory make sure that it is a long term site.

One thing that I did realize when I was browsing the directory was that it was about time to add more categories.  Some are so full there are over 1000 links in them and only 50 links per page.  That is something else that will probably take about 8 hours.  But to pay for that time I am going to write a quick “Sponsored Links” Script that will be on a subscription basis, probably sometime like $10 for the review, and $5 a month after that.  When that is done I will announce it here.

Finially I added an article directory to the site.  This is something that is VERY new to me so I am going to manually add some more articles before announcing the site to the world.
