Find that Runaway
Posted by JeffApr 6
Losing a dog or cat can be a traumatic event to you and your family. Many dogs and cats are house pets that don’t know how to survive in the wild or city. If you lose your dog or cat, you need to find them fast in order to increase their chances of survival.
Make sure you walk around your neighborhood searching for you cat or dog, carrying an item of theirs that they can smell or hear (if it is a sqeezy toy). It is also a good idea to talk to your neighbors or children in the area if they have seen your pet. Children usually notice dogs and cats more than adults. When searching for your dog or cat, check in the immediate area where the animal was lost. Look for little nooks where the animal can hide. Sometimes they are afraid and try to find a comfortable spot to hide.
It is also a good idea to pos your lost dog or cat on neighborhood street sights and posts. Offer a reward for finding your pet. Don’t post the amount of the reward or all the details of your dog. You want to weed out scam artists that might take advantage of your situation. So if you lost your pet, follow the above tips to find your pet.
