An email newsletter is a newsletter we find on the internet where the readers can get to read news on the internet, just as one may read ordinary newspapers. Various online newsletters available cover many topics. We can get stories on health, technology, sports, general stories, articles, and even any alerts sounded by the people/government to read on the online newsletter.

The thing to remember when creating an email newsletter is to make the email newsletter design as attractive and interesting for a reader to get interested in reading it. To make the newsletter design attractive, one can either get the newsletter design done professionally by some newsletter design agency or by downloading a newsletter design software available in the website, and following it’s tutorials to get the newsletter done. Of course, for better results, the professionalism is better.

Here, at a fixed price, they have their newsletter designers create various newsletter design samples for you to choose from. If you find a design that you like, they will make any changes to it for you, to finally get the newsletter design you require.

In case you plan to design the newsletter design by yourself, there are various software available, wherein there are email newsletter templates for you to choose from.

There are various template packs available for purchase in addition to the templates that are already in the newsletter design website. These template packs are additional email template designs packed in packs for the user.

Ads in Blogs and Content

By Meryl K. Evans

I know that seeing ads everywhere in a blog annoys and I’m guilty of it. I do the best I can to provide you with information that you can use or find valuable. Many quality Web sites are using ads and I respect that. I even click on them when I find something interesting.

The ads are there for the most obvious reason. Since becoming a full-time content maven, I’ve had to explore various routes to support the family and that includes ads. This may not matter to you, but I simply want to be up front with you about this.

Ads come with the risk of losing readers. Master New Media, Engadget, Gizmodo (ooh, I listed competitors next to each other), and Boing Boing are well-respected and full of traffic, right?

I draw the line at animated ads or ads that appear in front of content. One site drives me nuts as an ad appears whenever the mouse pointer hits a certain spot. It happened so often that it was like a blinking ad. Some folks have trouble controlling the mouse pointer, so if you’re going to use “in front of content floating ads,” then at least have a close button instead of a “depends where your mouse” goes and it appears ad.

Taking a Break

Well it is the final week before Christmas, so I am taking my break. I have been working pretty hard all year, and have decided that it is time to take a break from my online world till the New Year. The New Year will bring in time for my new ideas to thrive, I have a lot of things planned for 2006 one of them being, setting up a completely automated online store, well maybe not completely automated, but I am planning on spending a lot of time working on it in January and then 1 hour a week from then on. I will make sure that I keep everyone here up-to-date on the goings on.

Another project that I will be working on is my directory, I am planning on expanding into articles, and RSS feeds. This will be a lot of work, but a lot of fun too :)

So to all I take my leave, I wish everyone a Happy Holiday Season, and a tremendous New Year.

PS
I will however be posting a new Webmaster Related Article everyday. Since even when I am on a break I read the articles in the databases, I figure I might as well post one every day :)

I have seen a lot of comparing of Link Vault to the DigitalPoint Ad Co-op. The truth is that they are completely different systems, with completely different intents. But that is for another time.

The Link Vault is based on a network of websites that have space available from links to other sites. These are static links that make them extremely valuable for SEO. It is a very basic concept that the Link Vault does very well.

The Link Vault is a relatively new system available to webmasters and SEO experts. It works like this, you submit your website and offer space on your site. The site has to be approved first the Link Vault has some very exact guidelines that include having your homepage cached by Google, Yahoo, and MSN. This is one of the ways that the system ensures that sites in the network are of a certain quailty and are not simple link farms or banned sites. Sites that are banned from one or more of those search engines will affect the quality of the links that are placed on them, or in some of the worst cases actually HURT the links that are on these banned sites.

When you have your site approved and have placed the necessary PHP or ASP code onto your site you are given “Vaultage”. This vaultage gives you the power to have your links placed on other sites. The way the vaultage is given is depending on the Google PageRank on your site.

There are many ways to control your links, even with the free option. You are able to control how many links are distributed per day, maximum number of links, 3 different anchor texts and the abilty to control the probability of each.

The greatest advantage of the Link Vault network is that you are able to distribute your links for better SERPs and without the work of emails and ensuring that the people that you exchange links with keep them on their pages. This allows you to take a lot of the leg work out of link building allowing you to spend you time developing content.

By Dave Origano

Within the next few minutes you will hear a secret that changed my life quite a bit. It was no drastic change, though it helped me save hours a week and got me to do much more work for my business too.

A problem which you might haven’t discovered yet…

You probably already know that almost anybody on the internet publishes a newsletter, and that’s actually a good thing. People all around the world send their information to you for free. But there is also a downside to that story, which is the time is consumes to shift trough all kinds of articles, newsletters, blatant promotions and more.

And please believe me that this really is a problem. It’s a problem because you spend countless hours a week reading all those promotions, ads and gimmicks. You are wasting those hours to those self-proclaimed guru’s who want to make a buck or two for a six pack of beer.

But in the meantime you can do an enormous amount of work for your business. Hours a week can mean another two or three pages of content, extra subscribers to your list, some interviews for information product, and much more!

You need to take action now!

It’s time to unsubscribe of all these newsletters and advertisements. And now pick out five of your favorite newsletters. The ones that give you the most information and the less ads. Those that are focussed on your market, your niche or your situation.

But that was only the first part of the solution!

Second part is to make a new email account dedicated to those five newsletter subscriptions, something like newsletters@yourdomain.com or maybe you can try Gmail and setup a Filter for the newsletters. (Don’t have gmail? Subscribe to my newsletter and mail me for an invitation!)
